How can I tell the difference between tried and untried recipes?

QUESTION:

We have thousands of recipes stored in Cook'n. I would like to work our way thru all the recipes we have not tried yet. But I can't find any way to flag recipes that we have tried. I don't want to use the I Made This feature because I don't want to post hundreds of recipes. How can I tell the difference between tried and untried recipes? Thanks" - Mark J.

ANSWER:

Hi Mark,

It's great to hear from you! This is a great question.

One way to do this is to use the Category feature. You could create a Category called "Recipes I've Tried" or one called "Recipes I want to make" or something like that, and you could add every recipe you make or want to make to either of those respective Categories.

Then, when you make them you could add or adjust the Category as wanted.

Here is a demo video that shows how to Categorize recipes in Cook'n.

Let me know if you have any other cool suggestions!
