Cook’n Gets a Stunning Makeover with iOS 26 & Liquid Glass

The new Cook'n for iOS update that I described in the last Cook'n Newsletter was released a couple days ago.

We completely rebuilt the Discover Views with native components, making them buttery smooth, lightning fast, and beautiful; delivering the best Cook’n experience ever.

The new update took a little longer to release than expected because the Cook'n Elves decided to add support for the new iOS 26 while they were at it. The latest version of Cook’n is fully optimized for iOS 26, including Apple’s new Liquid Glass interface, giving you a fresh and modern look and feel that most apps haven’t adopted yet.

So...how do you like it? Pretty cool, huh?!!

We hope you love the seamless new UI!

My wife, Kathy, likes the new improvements. She used Cook'n to make 208 Cake Bites last week for our niece's wedding reception. Yum!!

She made 208 Cake Bites one day and then she froze 20 dozen ears of corn the next! What a woman!

Freezing fresh corn every year has become a family tradition. We (i.e. Kathy) have done it every year for the past 32 years.

We LOVE it! It's so sweet and delicious! And, it will transform even the most simple meal into something special.

If you come to our house for dinner and we serve you canned corn or store bought corn instead of our precious hand-shucked corn from the freezer, you know that you have been weighed, measured, and found wanting.

The next day was the wedding and, surprisingly, Kathy let me miss the wedding to go dirt bike riding with my buddies. But, unfortunately, I wrecked and tore some ligaments in my left knee. 😢

My body went into shock and I started shaking all over. I've never had that happen before. That was kinda freaky.

Then, when I realized that the only way out (other than to call a helicopter) was to ride, I almost had a panic attack and started crying! I'm not proud to admit it. But, it's true!

We had plunged ourselves so deep in the High Uintah Mountains in Utah...and the only way out was to ride! My knee hurt sooooo bad. The thought of losing my balance and sticking out my injured left leg to catch myself frightened me!

It's too bad this happened because the weather was perfect and the trees are changing color. It was a beautiful ride up until that point.

I am going in for an MRI tomorrow. :( Wish me luck!

I guess that'll learn me for going dirt biking instead of going to my niece's wedding.

Since I'll be laid up for a little while, post a comment on the bottom of this page and let me know how you like the new iOS update so I'll have something to read!

Also, would you like to know what the Cook'n Elves are working on next? It's pretty fantastic! Scroll down...
