So I am doing a Search, Greek Lemon chicken and potatoes, as you can see it is a lot to type, and bam here comes your ad, I hit no sign up, cancel membership plans and my search is gone. Sooooo I type it again, and bam here you come again. No sign up, no cancel, and again it’s gone. So I type it a 3rd time 🤬#&;&’js here comes an ad for some Wendy person. - Maria

Thank you for the detailed information. After further investigation, I have discovered the problem.

The problem is that you are tapping "Sign Me Up!" at the bottom of the screen and then you are tapping Cancel as a way to skip the ad. That is the reason why you cannot progress and that is the reason you have to keep typing your search term over and over again.

To avoid this problem, you have several options:

• You can click here to sign up for a membership plan in which case you will not see these ads anymore.
• OR, you can watch the ad through to the end and, after watching the ad in its entirety, you can continue to use services and features that are typically reserved for paying subscribers.

I'm so glad to hear that you love Cook'n and that you have enjoyed using it for the past 30 years. And, I have great news...you can continue to use Cook'n for free forever! You only need to sign up for a Membership Plan if you want to use the services that we offer.

The reason we charge a fee for some services is because we must pay a fee each month to store your recipe data in the cloud and all those food photos take up a lot of space! We must pay for every read and write operation too which means that every time you sync to the Cloud, it costs us money.

Also, the amazing Cook'n programmers and tech support agents don't work for free. They work hard and expect to get a paycheck. We don't get tax money or donations to pay our bills and there are no 3rd party ads in Cook'n.

We would like to offer these services to all of our customers for free...but if we did that, who would pay the bills?
