Guacamole Tradicional

The best guacamole lets the mild, creaminess of ripe avocado shine. That’s why Marcela’s traditional take keeps the add-ins to a minimum. She uses just onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.

Ingredients:
4 firm ripe avocados, halved, pitted and peeled
1/2 small white onion, minced
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
juice of 1 lime
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper


Directions:
Coarsely mash the avocados in a medium bowl. Lightly mix in the onion, cilantro and lime juice. Season the guacamole liberally with salt and pepper.
