Easy Ways To Complete Your Thanksgiving Table Centerpiece!

Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away, and while you might have your menu planned out, you might not have thought about your Thanksgiving table! Delicious food is definitely the most important thing, but having a beautiful layout can add so much to your meal! It can be pricey to do individual placemats and settings, but you can easily add some beauty to your table with a beautiful centerpiece- and there are so many cute options for a homemade centerpiece!

Let’s start with that cute pineapple turkey at the beginning of this article! Some felt, hot glue and creativity is all you need to recreate this little guy! (Well, and some googly eyes. And a pineapple ;). But still simple and darling!)

The easiest and most festive centerpiece can be created when you embrace fall with all the colored leaves! You can still find plenty of colorful foliage, so take a hike and find some beautiful star pieces to scatter across your table. You can layer them in a vase for a more elegant look, topped with a candle (though you probably don’t want to actually light it!). You can add them to a vase with pinecones, or with a few twigs to create a fall bouquet. All of these would be beautiful options! I’m a huge fan of the nature vibe. And I think all of these would fit in perfectly with a Thanksgiving dinner.

Another way you can utilize fall leaves is by making your own candle jars! You can use a few spare mason jars (or any glass vase/jar you have on hand) and mod podge leaves around the outside to create your own autumn leaf candle jars. Finish them off with some twine tied around the outside for an elegant, finished look.

You can also use leaves to create your very own beautiful bowl. Use a blown up balloon and mod podge to create your own bowl made from the beautiful leaves right from your own backyard! Just paste them on your filled balloon in a bowl shape, let it dry, and pop the balloon! Fill it with chocolates, nuts, pinecones- whatever seems to call your name! You could create several smaller bowls, or one larger bowl (or both!).

You can also create the cutest leaf roses with a little folding and rolling! The image above is a brief tutorial on how you can achieve this look. What guest wouldn’t be wowed by a unique, homemade bouquet of autumn leaf roses? So pretty.

Pumpkins are another easy way to add elegance and color to your table. If you’ve had a successful garden this year, those pumpkins will make a beautiful addition as a centerpiece! And you can have bragging rights because you grew it! Just line them up and add some twigs and foliage for the easiest elegant centerpiece ever!

Popcorn kernels are another easy addition to the Thanksgiving table. I mean, who doesn’t think of corn when you think of Thanksgiving? Add kernels to a glass jar with a simple white candle for an elegant and festive look. Complete the look with an orange ribbon or twine tied in a simple bow.

These are just a few very simple ideas to hopefully get you brainstorming about your own Thanksgiving table. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have an elegant, beautiful table setting for your big Thanksgiving meal!
