9 ways to Use Healthy Tzatziki Sauce

The last time I went to Trader Joe’s, I was so excited to grab a tub of their tzatziki sauce and make some lamb gyros at home. If you don’t know what Tzatziki sauce is, it is a Greek sauce made with yogurt, minced cucumber, garlic and lemon juice. It is so light and delicious and flavorful. You have likely had it if you have ever had any gyro sandwich, whether beef, chicken or lamb.

Trader Joe’s actually sells sliced and pre-cooked lamb meat that is perfect to make quick gyros at home. I love making this quick and simple meal for my family, especially my husband. But after making these gyros at home, most of the tub of tzatziki sauce is still left. There are so many ways that you can use this healthy, flavorful sauce to make healthy meals at home.
