DESSERTS TO DIE FOR

Pie Shake

By Sydney Hill

I had this at a café once. They literally keep pies in the fridge, ask your flavor of choice, and cut you a delicious slice. Instead of just serving it to you on a plate. They mix it with ice cream in a blender. You have chunks of pie in a creamy mixture of colorful pizzazz.

It sounds too good to be true! But, I promise you, it is possible! My favorite part is that it suits any palate because you choose your own flavor and not much is needed. One push of a button and it's finished. You are in desserts to die for heaven.

Have any leftover pie? That's pretty much all you need. What a great way to save it from going to waste but also to keep monotony at bay with a difference in scenery and texture.

Pie Shake

Serving size: 10
Calories per serving: 119

Ingredients:
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2-1 cup milk
1 piece of your favorite pie

Directions:
In a blender, blend ice cream and desired amount of milk (it will depend on how thin or thick you want the shake). Break the piece of pie into pieces and add to the blender. Blend until it reaches the desired consistency (Blend for less time if you want pie chunks, and longer if you want it smooth).
