A Brisket to Impress

Our wonderful Cook'n customer, Donald, wanted to impress his fiance's parents with dinner. Here's Desi's response...

Hi Donald,

Sounds exciting... impressing the future in-laws! Congratulations.

Here are some Beef Brisket ideas that may help. The Sunday Dinner recipe includes serving the brisket with yams. Simply type in your email to receive the full recipe. A summer squash saute (Stir-Fry Squash) or baked winter squash mash (Applesauce and Squash Scallop) or (Rum-Squash in Ramekins) - would also be a nice compliment to corned brisket.

OR, you could serve corn on the cob or a fresh Corn and Black Bean Salad. With so many tempting vegetable side dishes out there, it can really be refreshing to try new flavors and to mix it up a bit from the traditional cabbage.
