Chocolate Chip Brownies

Serves 36

Ingredients:

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup (6 ounces) vanilla baking chip or white chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt stir into creamed mixture just until blended (do not overmix). Pour into two greased 9-in. square baking pans. Sprinkle with chips and nuts. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
