I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Tossed Italian Salad

Serves: 4


  Download this recipe.

1 clove garlic, peeled
6 cups assorted salad greens
1/2 cucumber or zucchini, thinly sliced
1 large tomato, cut into wedges
Italian salad dressing

Rub the inside of a salad bowl with the garlic. Add the greens, cucumber or zucchini and tomato. Just before serving, toss with enough salad dressing to coat.
