I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. No-Fry Fried Ice Cream

Serves: 8


        

  Download this recipe.

4 cups honey-coated corn flake cereal cereal, crushed
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
4 tablespoons corn syrup
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
Garnish: chocolate syrup and frozen whipped topping, thawed


Toss corn flake cereal with sugar, margarine, corn syrup and cinnamon; set aside. Shape ice cream into 3-inch balls; roll in cereal mixture, pressing mixture lightly to coat ball. Place ice cream balls in muffin tins; freeze until ready to serve. To serve, place ice cream ball on a serving plate, add a dollop of whipped topping and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
