Live Event Reminder

We did our very first Live Event in December. And, if you watched it, you probably saw that it wasn't without a few hiccups. But, over-all, I thought it was a huge success!

We didn't even announce the live event until the morning of the day of the event! If we had announced it earlier, we probably would have had more people participate. Nevertheless, the turnout was GREAT! And, the audience participationg was fantastic! I thought it was so fun to see your comments and to respond live.

One of the participants mentioned how impressed he was. He said that "you guys are the real deal" because this sort of thing is never done in the software industry. It's just too risky. There are so many things that could go wrong when you release new software and, no matter how well you prepare, there are always unexpected problems.

Well, I guess you could say that we're tempting fate because we're doing it again next week!

This time, in addition to releasing a new version of the Cook'n Desktop App (like we did last time), we will also be releasing new updates to the Cook'n for iOS and Cook'n for Android Mobile Apps as well! So, I guess you could say we're kicking it up a notch and tripling the risk!

I can't promise that everything will go smoothly. I just know that the new features will be worth it and it will probably be very entertaining (for you) to watch me squirm live!

I look forward to reading and responding to your comments and questions. Be sure to mark it on your calendars and tune in.

Set a reminder on your phone (that's what I do...I just push the button, speak into my phone, and say "Remind me to tune in to the Cook'n live event at 10:00 am on February 8."

By the way, the event is actually scheduled for 6:00 pm Eastern Time but if my reminder appears on my phone that morning, I will be more likely to see it and then I can set an alarm by simply speaking into my phone and saying "set an alarm for today at 6:00 pm." Of course, since I live in Utah, I would actually say "set an alarm for 4:00 pm today."

When the event starts, simply click here to go to this web page and then watch the video! Or, simply go to the DVO.com home page (www.dvo.com) and click the countdown timer. It's that easy!

We'll see you soon!!!
