1 cake mix (any kind, chocolate is our favorite – sometimes the store brand goes on sale)
½ c. choc chips (or candy bar pieces, m&ms)
½ c. applesauce (or ¼ cup of oil)
2 eggs

And a little water (you have to judge so the cookies look like cookie dough)
Mix ingredients together and drop dough by spoonfuls onto un-greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
