 1 loaf french bread
 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
 2 tablespoons green onions finely chopped
 2 tablespoons olives finely chopped
 2 tablespoons parsley finely chopped fresh
 1 teaspoon basil dried, crushed
 1/2 teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
 1/2 teaspoon marjoram dried, crushed
 1/2 teaspoon tarragon dried, crushed
 
 
 Slice French bread diagonally almost through to bottom crust. Blend softened butter or margarine with remaining ingredients; combine well. Spread cut surfaces of slices with mixture. Wrap loaf in heavy foil. Place on baking sheet and heat at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.
