Seven Layer Dip is Not the Only Good Thing With Seven….

Seven is a good number for so many things.

There’s the classic, delicious, seven layer dip that everyone knows and loves.

And some of the tastiest foods have seven letters:

  • Avocado
  • Burritos
  • Brisket
  • Brownies
  • Caramel
  • Coconut
  • Cobbler
  • Chicken
  • Fritter
  • Halibut
  • Lasagna
  • Popcorn
  • Pumpkin
  • Vanilla

I mean, that’s a pretty decent list of awesomeness right there. But there’s a bunch of other wonderful things that come in sets of seven as well….

  • Seven dwarves in the classic story.
  • Seven seas and seven continents on this beautiful planet!
  • Seven days in the week, a trusty standard we all live by.
  • Seven colors in the rainbow- Roy G. Biv!
  • Seven wonders of the world- one of which my family has now seen!
  • Seven players on a Quidditch team and seven Harry Potter books, which is one of my absolute favorite series.
  • Seven Brides for Seven Brothers- a beloved classic! That barn dance scene just can’t be beat.
  • Seven children in the Von Trapp family in Sound of Music….

Hmmm… Seven children.

We’re getting off track. Here’s another adorable 7!

So so cute!

What a second, how’d that get there? ;)

If you haven’t guessed already, we’re expecting baby number 7! Baby Boy Hoffmann is due December 6 and we are so thrilled to have him join our family!

Thanks for playing along ;). But seriously- seven is a pretty awesome number! Now go have some of this seven layer dip to celebrate!
