Possibly the Single Greatest Tool in the Whole COOK'N Program!

Sitting hunched over my laptop, I cracked my knuckles and a smile, then typed a brief message:

“Standby and I will show you something really cool…”

During our remote connect session, from her computer 700 miles away, the Cook’n user I was connected with (Susan) watched, intrigued.

That’s when I endowed Susan’s computer with a superpower. Her life has never been the same.

The day after, it’s not uncommon for me to receive an email from users like Susan:

“This is amazing! I’m laughing out loud to myself and my husband is getting concerned. Thank you so much!”

“Awesome… just awesome.”

“I still can’t believe this is free. How did I ever live without it?”

If I’ve ever connected to your computer to show you this, then you know exactly what I’m talking about: the Cook’n Capture Plugin. If you still have never downloaded the Cook’n Capture Plugin, then we need to have a serious talk. It’s remarkably easy to use, it takes away the stress of finding new recipes, and it’s free.

Just to make sure I don’t sound biased, here are a few reasons you might not want the Cook’n Capture Plugin. If you agree with any of these, then DO NOT DOWNLOAD the Cook’n Capture Plugin:

  • It’s too fast. You already have way too much time in your day; you can’t afford to move any faster!

  • It’s too convenient. You’ve had a life of hardship and toil, and you love it! You’re not about to give it up for a nifty little recipe button.

  • It promotes creativity. And you hate creativity and new recipes! All you want to eat for the rest of your life are white rice and garbanzo beans.

Let’s role play a little.

Imagine you’re browsing the internet. You just “Liked” your niece’s baby picture, clicked to a board on Pinterest, or simply went to a blog to look around. You scroll down. BAM! You see the perfect recipe. You just ate, but suddenly your lunch seems like it was an appetizer, and now you’re staring at the main course.

As you wipe a tear from your eye, you catch yourself stroking the computer screen and decide that you must have that recipe! Here’s where the hard part starts:

First, you click to the recipe’s web page.

Second, you highlight the URL and copy it.

Third, you open Cook’n.

Fourth, you paste the recipe’s URL into the Cook’n search bar.

Fifth, as the recipe opens again, you make sure everything looks correct.

Sixth, you click the Capture button.

Seventh, you make sure the recipe got captured correctly.

Eighth, you click Save. Only by now, you’ve forgotten how delicious the recipe looked because you spent all this time playing around with text and computer buttons. Looks like you’ll never try this recipe, after all.

How many times have you done this? Be honest with me.

Now, let’s role play this as if you owned the Cook’n Capture Plugin:

You find an amazing recipe; you want it!

First, you click the Cook’n strawberry on your window.

Second, you capture the recipe.

Third, you make sure it captured correctly, then you Save.

DONE.

See the difference?

Pro-tip: Cook’n doesn’t even need to be open, and you can still capture as many online recipes as you want.

I desperately hope I’ve convinced you to use the Cook’n Capture plugin by now. If you’re still not sure how it works, just check out the video of Dan putting the Cook’n Capture plugin to good use:
