Soup Servings?

I am DROOLING here, wanting to try each and every one of your soup recipes. However, my family has grown from 3 to 7-9, as my daughter and her kids have moved back home. I'm just wondering how many each recipe serves? Please advise. Thanks.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.

Katy,

You must be a fellow soup lover! It is hard for me to determine how much soup is enough. Each of these soup recipes should serve between 6-8 people, if you are using them as the main dish. If the children are teenagers and love soup they will definitely eat more.

Cream soups usually are richer and therefore require a smaller amount to satisfy, whereas, minestrone and chicken noodle are more in the "all you can eat category." You can always freeze leftovers, although I am not crazy about broccoli cheese done this way.

Thanks for writing in. Soup is a great way to fill up a bunch of hungry kids, and by the way... Happy Dancing Katy!

My Best,

Jeanne
