I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Pork Stew

Ingredients: (Serves 6)

  • 3/4 pound left over pork from Monday night
  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 5 carrots, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4) oz can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10 3/4) oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. milk
  1. Place shredded pork roast, and carrots in a crock pot
  2. In a separate bowl mix soups, tomato sauce and milk together
  3. Pour over meat, and carrots.
  4. Cook in slow cooker all day or in over at 250 degrees for 8 hours
  5. Add diced, cooked potatoes to stew the last 45 minutes of cooking
