Dressed Up Irish Coffee

This boozy confection is not for the faint of heart. To kick this Irish coffee up a notch, use peppermint schnapps and two different types of Irish whiskey. Don’t forget the whipped cream to top it off!

Ingredients:
1 cup hot brewed coffee
1 teaspoon light brown sugar
1 1/2 ounces irish cream whiskey
1 ounce irish whiskey
1/2 ounce peppermint schnapps
whipped cream, recipe follows, for topping
shaved dark chocolate, for garnish, optional
Whipped Cream Topping:
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


Directions:
Pour the hot coffee into a mug and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar melts. Stir in the Irish cream, Irish whiskey and schnapps. Top with a nice dollop of Whipped Cream and some shaved dark chocolate if using.

Add the heavy cream, confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract to a large bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until soft peaks appear.
