The High Altitude Muffin Lady
I have been reading some letters to you about high altitude baking AND FYI I have been the Muffin Lady Inc. of Colorado for the past 12 years, baking at about 8000 feet. And due to many requests for recipes (butter, low fat or sugar free) I have recently written, published and printed a book titled Baking at High Altitude/The Muffin Lady's Old Fashioned Recipes.
I should have the book back from the printer by Dec. 19, 2003. It has tips for baking at high altitude, as well as recipes that have been handed down to me by family and friends dating back to great grandmothers recipes from about 100 years ago, plus some of my own recipes.
