More on Cinnamon Ornaments

Referring to last month's instructions on
Cinnamon Ornaments
,
these readers offer these tips:
  • My stepdaughter makes these ornaments too. She adds a little white glue to make them last longer. When the scent begins to fade, she smoothes on a little cinnamon oil and lets them air dry again.
    --Merle and Jane M.

  • You can bake the ornaments at 250 F. (or less) for 20 minutes, then put on a rack to cool, instead of air-drying them. The ornaments won't be completely hard yet but they will continue to harden after cooling. Your house will smell wonderful!
    --Deb
