Sit down with your family and talk about your favorite dinner meals. Each family member should be part of the discussion. If it is a "family recipe" and you don't have it in written form, now is a great time to get it down for future generations.
Prospering Families encourages its clients to purchase the Food Storage Planner (FSP). This software is another valuable tool to help your family know all groceries, supplies, tools, and food storage items your family needs to ideally store. Enter your family's information into FSP and set your family's goal of how many months' supplies you wish to have on hand. A list will be generated and you will use this as part of your Master Shopping List.
Enter your recipes into Chapter 9 of this cookbook.
Cook'n makes menu planning easy! Click on the Menus button at the top of your screen and create a new menu. Then simply drag and drop recipes into your new menu.
After you create your menu, Cook'n will generate a grocery shopping list for you. We call this list your Master Menu Ingredient List or Master Menu Shopping List.
Print the Inventory of your Freezer & Inventory of your Pantry worksheets found in Chapter 5. Take the time to inventory everything you have in your home.
