Carson's Caramel Corn Pops

1 (15-ounce) box Kellogg's Corn Pops corn cereal
2 sticks butter
1 cup corn syrup
3 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup slivered almonds
1 tablespoon liquid coconut flavor
1 tablespoon mexican vanilla extract


Put corn pops and almonds in a big bowl. Set aside. In a sauce pan mix butter, corn syrup, and sugar. Cook on high, stirring continuously till it reaches a soft ball stage. Add coconut flavoring and vanilla. Pour over corn pops and stir.
