Mushroom Cheese Sauce

Serves: 2

8 ounces Muenster cheese finely shredded (about 2 cups)
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon parsley chopped
1 cup mushrooms sliced
1 tablespoon butter or margarine


In a medium bowl, mix cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, wine and parsley set aside.

In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, saute mushrooms in butter or margarine for 3 minutes or until limp. Stir in cheese mixture. Reduce heat to low. Cook and stir until cheese melts (do not boil).

Serve with Chicken and Ham Pinwheels or over mixed vegetables.
