Cheese and Peas Salad

1 (10-ounce) package petite peas
2 eggs hard-cooked, chopped
1 cup Swiss cheese diced (about 4 oz.)
1/2 cup celery chopped
1/4 cup sweet pickle chopped
4 green onions chopped including some green
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 1/2 tablespoons parsley minced fresh
1 teaspoon summer savory dried or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup pasta shell cooked, drained, and cooled, tiny


Pour boiling water over peas let stand 1 minute. Drain well. Gently stir peas, eggs, cheese, celery, pickles, and green onions in a medium bowl.

Blend mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, savory, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Gently stir in pasta and pea mixture until ingredients are well coated. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.

If desired, garnishwith tomato wedges.
