Why does importing a backup file into Cook'n not sync it up with the cloud?

QUESTION:

"Why does importing a backup file into Cook'n not sync it up with the cloud?"

ANSWER:

When you restore a backup file, your data is no longer in sync with your Cook'n Cloud account and there is no way to get it back in sync.

If you restored a backup file to recover a recipe or cookbook that you accidentally deleted, just export the cookbook or recipe to a .dvo file in your file system, restore your recipes from your Cook'n Cloud account, and then simply import the .dvo file.

If you restored a backup file because your recipe data (including the data in your Cook'n Cloud account) has become corrupt, let technical support know so we can wipe your cloud account and give you the steps to recreate it to sync back to the Cook'n cloud.
