I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Serves: 6

  Download this recipe.

3 (8-ounce) packages Italian bread shells or 6 pita bread (6 inch diameter)
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 1/2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
3/4 cup shredded smoked or regular cheddar cheese (3 ounces)
6 tablespoons chopped red onions

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place bread shells on ungreased large cookie sheet. Spread barbecue sauce on bread shells to within Ό inch of edges. Top with chicken and cheese. Sprinkle with onion. Bake 7 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
