I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Ravioli Supper Soup

Serves: 4


Download this recipe.

1 pound ground beef
1 package ravioli and cheese skillet dinner mix for hamburger
6 hot water
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (10-ounce) bag frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, undrained
1/4 cup finely chopped onions mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup small curd creamed cottage cheese
Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired


1. Cook beef in 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.

2. Stir uncooked Pasta and Sauce Mix from dinner mix, water, tomatoes, vegetables, onion and garlic into beef. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

3. Remove from heat; stir in cottage cheese. Let stand about 5 minutes or until desired consistency. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
