I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Crunchy Chicken Casserole

Serves: 4

So crunchy and cheesy...always a hit!

1 (6-ounce) package wild rice, uncooked
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can French-style green beans, drained
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked
1 (8-ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 ounce slivered almonds
2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese


Cook rice 5 minutes less than directed on package; mix with remaining ingredients, except cheese. Pour into a greased 13" x 9" baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
