I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
Cream butter and sugar together; add flour, mixing well. Stir in walnuts; refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll dough into one-inch balls; bake at 350 degrees on ungreased baking sheets for 12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
