Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

  Download this recipe.

1 loaf french bread
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or cheddar/jack mix. Fine shred melts best.
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, or garlic salt

Cut French bread into 1-inch slices, cutting to, but not through, the bottom crust. Blend butter, cheese and garlic powder or salt together. Spread mixture between slices. Wrap garlic bread in foil, label, and freeze.

To serve, heat frozen bread at 375F for 30 minutes.
