Cook'n Cloud Instructions
- Launch Cook'n from the computer that has your complete recipe collection
- Click Help->About and make sure you have version 10.6 or higher. If not, update Cook'n to this version first.
- Click the Cloud icon in the toolbar and follow the on-screen directions. This will include entering an email, confirming your account, etc. Cook'n will do a one-time full upload of your recipes. This may take anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour or more, depending on the speed of your internet connection and the size of your database.
- Follow these same steps from any other computer to synchronize recipes between them

My Cook'n Cloud Account installation experience was great and quick. I have 34 cookbooks on my computer that was uploaded to the Cook'n Cloud in under 5 minutes. The instructions and web links were extremely clear, simple, efficient, and accurate. I think the new cloud service will have a great benefit for my recipe management on my IOS devices and desktop Mac computer. Looking forward to the new Cook'n iPhone & iPad Apps. Thanks!
Wow! Everything seems to be working perfectly and quickly. Just did a cookbook on the laptop and by the time I got to my desktop it was there!

Hello from Nashville, TN. I've been anticipating the cloud for a year and half, watching and waiting for emails and updates. I received the invitation and couldn't wait to give it a try. After installing on second computer and logging into my account it began down-syncing. I got both very nervous and excited. I was thinking "what if it doesn't work? But what if it does?" Then it happened! I opened it up and there were ALL of my recipes on the 2nd computer. The joy and excitement I felt was more than I could have anticipated. I work as a professional baker and have a 3rd computer at work. Monday I'll install it there. This is going to make my life at work and at home so much better and easier. Needless to say, the release of the android apps for my smart phone and tablet are going to create even more excitement and enthusiasm. Total access to all of my recipes while grocery shopping and while at work on all my devices is going to be AMAZING. What you have accomplished, to me seems nothing short of a miracle. Thanks for your hard work and dedication. And thank you for the invitation to download the cloud.
I was able to download the program into this computer with no problem. I downloaded all the recipes from the laptop into this computer via the cloud and it worked perfectly. I am very excited about this new feature and, so far, it seems to be working great. I can't wait to be able to access all the recipes on my Android devices. Dan and the team are all doing a great job. Thanks a lot for your help.
Dan, thanks very much for the "cloud invite"! In that my last "cloud sync" took less than 3 seconds (one thousand one....you know the routine) I shudder to think you would entertain "tweaking" the sync time factor!! Great work - great product. And while on the subject of greatness, you know quite well the degree of greatness in many of your associates; specifically Linda (Forum), Barbara, Josh and Chris Williams. I certainly do. I recently returned to Cook'n after having been away for quite a while thus missing out on upgrades from 10.0.44 up to your release of 10.5 and the "cloud". Linda pointed me to tech support. Responses from Josh and Chris Williams "healed" everything and I am now current after Barbara's help with June and July Cook'n Club coupons!! All is well. It is delightful having this kind of experience and sharing it with others. Continued success to you, Dan and to all of your associates involved with a great product.
Great work to you and the team in getting the Cook'n Cloud up & running, & thanks for the early invitation to use it. Installed & ran it for the first time this morning and seemed to run smoothly synchronising my cookbooks & recipes between the two computers. Didn't take that much time either. A mighty thanks, congratulations & pat on the back for you and the team at Cook'n for keeping the program at the forefront of kitchen software. You have brought some of the tools of the professional chef to the home cook (such as menu planning, portion adjustment) in an easy to use, well supported product.
