Deliciously Rotten Deviled Eggs

Serves: 6

Adding the green coloring makes deviled eggs a fun Halloween treat.

Yield: 12 halves

Ingredients:

6 eggs, hard boiled & sliced in half
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon (scant) mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
a splash of hot sauce (frank's red hot is my favorite)
green gel food dye
salt & pepper, to taste
paprika and chia seeds to garnish

Directions:

Place eggs in saucepan and cover with cold water. Cover with lid and bring to a boil on medium heat. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook eggs for 15 mins. Immediately, run cold water over eggs to cool. Once cool, remove shells. Slice in half and remove yolks.

Place your cooked egg yolks in a small bowl & mash them up with a fork. Stir in the mayo, mustard, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, food dye, salt, & pepper.

Scoop the filling into the egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and/or chia seeds.
