Barley is a cheap grain that is very healthy for your heart and still tastes really good. It's a black canvas for you to add your vegetables. Remember to add the hard ones at the beginning and the soft ones at the end.

Suggested Sides

Serve with a side Caesar or just get your veggies from your toppings.

Suggested Dessert

 Truffle Brownies

DoveTailing Tips

I included a simple dough recipe for you to try your own hands at making crust. You can build your own favorites. One of my favorite things is to crack an egg on top and bake it! For a sauce, use one of the past recipes or use a store-bought one to save time. If you like breadsticks, make extra dough for breadsticks to go with tomorrow's Brisket

Suggested Sides

 White Balsamic Coleslaw

DoveTailing Tips

This is a meal to get your excited about summer. If you can't find brisket, use a chuck eye roast. Make sure you make your dressing and taste it before adding it to the coleslaw.Shred extra cabbage and carrots to add to your arugula salad on Meal 5.

Suggested Sides

Suggested Sides

Serve over rotini or another pasta

DoveTailing Tips

You can cook your favorite steak and it will go well with this recipe. Remember to marinate the steak for six hours. You might want to start in the morning.

 Side arugula salad

Suggested Dessert

 Peanut Butter Pie

DoveTailing Tips

After a few heavy meals, this salmon with bold flavours served with an side arugula salad with make you feel light and healthy again. The recipe originally recommended a wild salmon but I changed the ingredients to reflect the difficulty in finding affordable wild caught salmon. However, if you can find it, it is much healthier and tastier than its farm raised sibling.
