I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Hawaiian Haystacks

Serves: 8



  Download this recipe.

6 cups cooked rice
1 pound cooked and diced chicken
1/2 pound mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 large tomato, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 cup peas
1 cup grated raw carrots
1 can pineapple tidbits
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons chicken base
1 cup coconut
1 cup peanuts


Make magic cream soup by mixing 1 can water and 1 can cream of chicken soup. Add sour cream and chicken base. Add chicken and heat thoroughly. Serve rice and chicken gravy. Put out a selection of other ingredients and let everyone build their own haystack.
