I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Favorite Meat Loaf

Serves: 6


  Download this recipe.

1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard (dry)
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1 egg, beaten
3 slices white bread, torn into pieces
1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)


1. Heat oven to 350.

2. Mix all ingredients. Spread in ungreased loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3 inches.

3. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until beef mixture is no longer pink in center and juice is clear.

4. Let stand 5 minutes; remove from pan.
