Pots De Creme
This thick, silky smooth pudding is just right! With just a little whipped cream on top Pots de Creme is the richest desert you will ever taste.
|4 ounces||semisweet baking chocolate|
|3/4 cup||whipping cream (unwhipped)|
|2||eggs yolks, slightly beaten|
|1/2 teaspoon||vanilla extract|
|sweetened whipped cream for topping|
In Saucepan, Heat Chocolate, Sugar and Cream over medium heat.
Stir Constantly so it doesn't stick and scorch
Stir until Chocolate completely melts and is smooth.
Remove from heat
While stirring, poor Chocolate into Egg Yolk, continue to stir until well blended
Stir in Vanilla Extract
Pour into demi cups
Chill several hours or over night
Top with Whipped Cream just before serving
