Give-Aways
I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Children will love to sprinkle the candy bits on these fast and fun cookies. Because they're so festive, they make a perfect birthday party treat.
1 package (1-lb 2.9-oz) pudding included white (vanilla) cake mix with candy bits
1/3 cup oils
2 eggs
1/2 15.6 ounce can pink vanilla ready-to-spread frosting with candy bits
Heat oven to 375F. In large bowl, combine cake mix, oil and eggs; stir by hand until thoroughly moistened. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on
ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten to 1/4-inch thickness with bottom of glass dipped in flour.
Bake at 375F. for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Spread frosting over warm cookies. Immediately sprinkle each with candy bits from frosting. Allow frosting to set before storing. Store in tightly covered container.
HIGH ALTITUDE - Above 3,500 feet: Add 112 cup flour to dry cake mix. Bake as directed above.
