Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Garlic Bread

Serves: 8

Download this recipe.

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 loaf gluten free bread, sliced

Set oven to broil.

Combine butter, cheese, and seasonings. Spread on slices of gluten free bread. (Any extra garlic butter should be stored in the refrigerator.)

Place bread slices, butter side up, on a cookie sheet. Broil until browned, keeping a close eye on them so they don't burn. The edges will turn black before the middle is browned, but you can cut the crusts off later, if you like!

Remove from the oven and serve.

SKILLET METHOD:
Heat skillet on medium heat. Spread garlic butter onto slices of bread. Place bread, butter side down, in the skillet and cook until browned. If you're feeling really adventurous, do both sides of the bread!
