Tuscan Green Beans

4 strips bacon cut in 1/2 -inch pieces
1/2 cup onions thinly sliced
12 ounces french-style green beans (1 1/2 cups)
1/8teaspoon black pepper


In a medium saucepan over medium heat, sauté bacon and onion for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is golden and limp. Drain bacon and onion on paper towels; discard drippings.

In the same pan, cook beans according to package directions; drain. Return to medium heat, sprinkle beans with pepper. Stir in bacon and onion, heat through.
