Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

  Download this recipe.

2 cups drained canned fruit of your choice
1 banana medium-size, cut in chunks
1 6-ounce container pineapple yogurt or flavor of your choice
6 to 8 small paper cups
6 to 8 wooden ice cream sticks

1. Place fruit in an electric blender container. Cover container. Turn blender on to high. Blend until fruit is finely chopped or pureed, (Pureed means it is a thick liquid.)

2. Add banana and yogurt and blend until smooth.

3. Pour about 1/3 cup of the mixture in each paper cup. Cover each paper cup with a piece of plastic wrap or foil and fasten to the cup with a rubber band around the top of each cup. Poke a small hole in the top of each and push in a stick. Freeze for about 3 hours or until hard.

4. To serve, run warm water over outside of cup for a few seconds, then push the bottom of the cup to free the pop.
