Crockpot Hungarian Goulash

Serves: 6

2 pounds beef round steaks, cut in cubes
1 cup onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon thyme, dried
1 bay leaf
1 14 1/2-ounce can tomatoes
1 cup sour cream


Put steak cubes, onions, garlic in crockpot. Stir in flour and mix to coat steak cubes. Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream. Stir well. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours, HIGH 4 to 5 hours. Add sour cream 30 minutes before serving.

Serve over hot buttered noodles.
