Olive Oil Substitution


I only use extra virgin olive oil for cooking and baking. My breads, brownies, cookies and cakes are great. I just substitute the oil for the butter using a chart of the equivalents of extra virgin olive oil for butter. If the recipe calls for shortening, I use vegan shortening from the health food store. Extra Virgin olive oil is the best for our health.
