"Get Me Out of the Kitchen" Sauces


The convenience of canned soup takes you one step further to fantastic meals without too much effort! Use condensed cream of chicken soup over veal, fish, or chicken. Try cream of mushroom for beef and pork entrees, and then resort to cream of celery soup to serve atop steamed veggies. The following recipe will get you on with your life in no time flat:

1 cup condensed cream soup (chicken, mushroom, or celery)
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons chicken, beef, or vegetable stock
Seasonings of choice (salt, pepper, lemon zest, chives, onion or garlic powder, fresh herbs, etc.)

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat through. Season to taste.
