Crouton Crunch

Easily create your own crunchy croutons by brushing several slices of bread with olive oil or melted butter or margarine. Season the oil, if you like, with garlic or other herbal concoctions to suit the flavors of your meal. Dice the bread into squares and place on baking sheet. Bake at 375-degrees F. for 10-15 minutes.

If you would like the crunch without added fat, season and dice the bread. Bake on a cookie sheet in a slow oven (200-degrees F.) until dry.
