Quickie Micro Clean-Up

If your microwave is giving you the baked on food blues, don't waste energy scrubbing and scraping off day-old splatters.
Place a cup of water in a glass container and microwave it on high, uncovered, for a couple minutes. The steam will soften the mess, making it easy to wipe it off with the stroke of a sponge or rag.
To give your microwave a lemon zing, add 1 tablespoon each of lemon juice and baking soda to one cup of water before heating.
Stack the glass turntable into the dishwasher to clean it.
