Soot Solution

I'm not sure this is a "kitchen" hint but I recently learned a valuable lesson that everyone needs to know.
I had a house fire and everything in the house was either burned (melted) or black with smoke. A friend of mine said that if I would soak the black items in fabric softener sheets (I use Snuggles but the others work too) that it would just wipe right off.
Well, let me tell you I have soaked and wiped off hundreds of items to date and it is a miracle! If your drip pans on your stove have caked on grime, soak them in dryer sheets and hot water....it will wipe right off. If your oven has burned on gunk, wet dryer sheets and lay them on the gunk. I sometimes respray them with a water bottle....it will wipe right off.
I should own a percentage of the Snuggles company by this point, but I'm just happy to have some of my dishes back from the black.
Love your product, love your newsletter.
