A new version of Cook'n for iOS went live today. This update includes Internet Recipe Search. Simply enter recipe search terms into search bar at the top of the Discover tab to search for recipes on the Internet.
Scroll through enhanced recipe search results, select recipes to view, and then Capture any recipes that you like. This Internet Recipe Search feature has been greatly enhanced beyond what was available in the first generation of Cook'n mobile apps. The search results look better and are much easier and more fun to use!
We also improved the Capture feature in this update so you can now drill down and Capture recipe pages at any level. A popup message box with spinner is also now displayed while the capture process is executing, to make it clear that the capture process is running. We made really nice improvements to the Recipe Detail View and a number of other User Interface enhancements as well. The app is super solid and starting to look really, really good...don't you think?!
We have been posting regular updates to the Cook'n for Android app as well. The Internet Recipe Search feature in Android has improved in all the exact same ways. We will be posting another Android update in a few days with additional enhancements.
