Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

A Side-Dish Comfort Food
by Patty Liston

Eat your veggies; eat your fruit and every once-in-awhile treat yourself to something wonderful! At least, that is my motto. These oven-roasted garlic fries are the perfect side-dish when our tummies seem to hanker for something different. Like I said; every once-in-awhile can be a good thing!

Oven-Roasted Garlic Fries
Serves 4

1 pound frozen French fries
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons fresh parsley leaves, chopped
Salt to Taste

1. Cook the fries according to the package directions
2. While the fires are baking, sauté the garlic in the olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Do not let the garlic brown.
3. Remove the fries from the oven, toss with the garlic mixture and the parsley. Sprinkle with salt and serve.
