I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Barbeque Meatloaf

Serves: 4


  Download this recipe.

2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 chopped onion
2 Tbs. celery leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
4 slices dry bread
1 1/2 to 2 pounds hamburger


1. Crumb bread and mix all together

2. Put in loaf tin.

3. Poke holes in top of meat loaf and pour sauce over top


Sauce:

6 Tbs. brown sugar
½ c. catsup
2 tsp. dry mustard
¼ tsp. nutmeg


Bake in over at 350 degrees for one hour.
